    Help can't find System folder

    Hi all I have just purchased a nuvi 3490 LMT but i cannot find the system folder i have selected show hidden folders in control panel.
    I am using windows 8.1 if anyone could through some light on this problem that would be good.

    Would be some virus blocking file permissions
    Goto CMD
    cd drive letter:
    Dir
    If you still don't see any enter below
    Dir /a

    On Map page touch Speed field > Press and hold center of Speedometer for ~5-6 seconds [or on Volume page > Press and fold top RH corner for 5-6 secs] to get to Diagonstics Page > Scroll down to MTP Settings and set to Mass Storage [middle radio button].

    You may also have to set Folder Options in Windows: In Control Panel > Folder Options > View > Set radio button for 'Show hidden files, folders or drives'. Also uncheck box for 'Hide protected operating system drives [Recommended)'.
